Psychic Addiction – A True Confession
There are days when a client can make it all worth it. My “pet cause” is psychic addiction because it is so secret and yet so many people are suffering drastically from it. Many people call a phone psychic everyday and simply 1-2 times per week is enough. I am frequently an unpopular psychic in psychicdom because I refuse to give pie-in-the-sky predictions. I refuse to tell the client what they want to hear just to make them feel better. And I refuse to hide their addiction if I see it – I tell them straight to their face.
This annoys folks.
But, every once in a while, I see that I am doing some good. Today, I received the following email from a past client. She had talked to me once on 4/3/2006, for seven minutes. But in that time, I am guessing I told her that she needed some help – I don’t keep notes, I think they can be crutches. (Most calls like that are short, ten minutes or less because the caller is psychic surfing – if I do not tell them what they want to hear in that timeframe they are a poof! gone.) But usually I follow-up with an email letting them know about psychic addiction. Most of the time, I hear nothing back.
But this client let me know that I had been helpful in helping her change her life. This is the email she sent, along with her story:
I spoke to you about 12 months ago and soon after received an email where you had recommended Psychic Junkie. I went on and wasn’t ready to face the truth about my actions. Mayweather started out at 130 pounds and had to build himself up (to 147 pounds).” The fight will be shown on HBO pay-per-view.
